Epslog SA offers laboratory and/or field testing of materials using the "scratch test" technique and its state-of-the-art portable equipments on cores or sidewall cores. We are also providing the associated training.
Currently, recorded data while drilling from downhole and surface measurement tools allow performing extended post-drilling analysis. Epslog’s team of experts along with the DREAM software is offering highly specialized study of drilling operations enabling recommendations to improve the future drilling performances of adjacent wells by looking at the different dynamics arising downhole and their relationship with the drilling parameters, the drillstring geometry and the formations.
Thanks to an advanced knowledge of the rock cutting processes and mechanisms, Epslog can provide support for the design (layout of cutting structure) of excavating equipments, drill bits, dredging tools, etc.. In addition Epslog has also some expertise in the modelling of the dynamic response of excavating equipment.
All those activities have been primarily developped to serve the
petroleum industry. However, our products and exprtises have already been used in civil engineering, mining and dredging applications.
